About me
Since I was little, I have always loved math and science. I am at my best at the whiteboard working with a group to solve a problem such as calculating the forces on a pulley or the energy released from a collision of objects. When everyone in the group is working together on the best way to solve the problem, I am the one with marker in hand at the whiteboard writing the potential solutions (everything properly lined up, with no stray marks of course!) and working towards the right answer.
On the other hand, I love art and I love to read. My favorite class is my 3D art class where I am given the opportunity to express myself through art. I have loved to read since I was little and am always looking for a new book.
Outside of school, I have played soccer my whole life and am currently the captain of my soccer team at school. I love being out on the field and working hard with my team to win. I love to hang with my friends and family and for nine years of my life, spent the summer at a sleep away camp where all we did was run around and play.
I am hoping to be a biomedical engineer and I love other things than math and science. To be an engineer you do not need to fit the stereotypical math and science kid. The only person you need to be is you.
